Supplying the Right support, the Right people, at the Right time
The most important resource a school has is its staff, and the foundations of SEN practice is rooted firmly in our learning support work force.
We believe that, as educators, we need to be open to thinking about the world and people in different ways. In developing inclusive pedagogy for SEN students, solutions need to be located not only in curriculum and environmental adaptations, but in the way we coach and work with our staff.
Our Coaching Approach:
Our SEN Staff will have access to a qualified, experienced, SEN professional, who will initially support them in their training and development.
Once our staff member is in post, our specialist SEN coach will be on hand to advise and support them with real life, relevant interventions for the students they support. This will involve a reflective and solution based approach, including practical steps, such as support with the making of bespoke resources.
